Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food items in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations
Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen area to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
Serve customers with professionalism, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure orders are delivered promptly
Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
Support team members during peak hours by assisting with additional tasks as required
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a friendly, team-oriented environment
Skills
Experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Excellent serving skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales performance
Good organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team
