Brief Description
The East Coast Main Line is one of the oldest and proudest names in British railway history and carries over 20 million passengers a year.
The route starts at London King's Cross and provides local commuter links into London as well as long distance services through Yorkshire and North East to Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a Team Organiser role that is vital to our success. In this fast-paced role, you'll provide vital administrative and secretarial support - from managing diaries and meetings to coordinating travel and keeping records in order. If you're organised, proactive, and thrive on keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you!
About the role (External)
You will provide efficient support to our Infrastructure Director and their senior managers. It's a varied role, with a focus on administrative and secretarial support - from co-ordinating diaries, arranging travel and organising meetings, through to producing documents, taking minutes and ordering stationary.
What's more, you'll be a friendly and informed voice at the end of the telephone, handling enquiries and delivering excellent customer service on behalf of the team.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • The ability to multi-task
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good time management
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) including excellent telephone manner
  • Experience of working with a team

  • Salary of 23,637 (Band 6) depending on skills, qualifications and experience
