Position Overview
To enable our customers to deliver life-changing innovations to the world faster and to become market leaders, we are committed to deliver the world's most comprehensive portfolio of electronic design automation (EDA) software, hardware, and services. As a Technical Account Manager at Siemens EDA, you will work exclusively on one Strategic Account at the worldwide level. You will work closely with the account team and with other teams supporting this account.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate SIEMENS EDA technical projects and activities within the account internally and at Worldwide level
Be the main interface to Siemens EDA R&D teams involved in the projects
Work with Account Director and local AM's in charge of the account's locations Worldwide and help them apply the Account team strategy
Understand customer's organization and technical decision-making process
Build strong relationships and credibility with engineering managers/directors at the account
Have a good understanding of the overall electronic product design process from PCB to IC/ASIC/FPGA
Have a thorough understanding of the Hardware Acceleration Verification platform (Emulation/Prototyping/Simulation)
Drive adoption, and add-on sales; broaden product usage portfolio, and drive competitive replacements campaigns within the account
Represent the customer's technical needs to Siemens EDA product groups and represent the corporation's technical positioning to the customer. Influence Siemens EDA product groups to meet customer's needs and shape product direction
Enjoy working closely with customers, and be able to function both independently and work with a larger extended sales team
Demonstrated organizational and program management skills
Have strong communication (verbal and written skills); ability to influence without authority
Can manage customer sensitivities, conflict and dealwith cultural differences
Ability to collaborate with members of world-wide account team and customer
Requirements
BS Degree or equivalent, MS or higher degree preferred - or equivalent
Some years of related experience
Finance understanding
Organizational skills
Market and industry knowledge in design and verification of IC, ASIC, FGPA
Negotiating skills
Prospecting/uncovering skills
Create and maintain technical campaigns
Bring technical campaigns to successful closure
Professional customer presence
Strong Communications and Time Management skills necessary
Self-Driven,Results-Oriented, Independent-Thinking individual required
Excellent English verbal and written communication are essential
