Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our well-established business based in Blackrod, Bolton. We are the UK's largest independent garage door distributor, and we pride ourselves on the quality service we provide to our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our business and help provide a first-class service to our customers.

Position Objectives

Providing accurate, detailed quotations and tenders for the supply and installation of garage doors in line with technical drawings and specifications provided by our customers.*
Managing pipeline and approach to each project in agreement with the sales team to ensure that opportunities are prioritised, workload is managed, and response timescales are achieved.*
Attending pre-start meetings as required.*
Review customer orders on receipt, ensuring adherence to quoted terms and conditions, and forward to relevant internal department with supporting documentation for processing.*
Review drawing, specification and order amendments and communicate impact to customers and relevant internal departments.*
Maintain and organise the current CRM system.*
Liaise with customers, identify any needs, and resolve and specification or scheduling conflicts.*
Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.*
Liaise with other department members when required.*
Carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Management Team.*

Required qualities:

Work under instruction and on own initiative prioritising multiple tasks to achieve target deadlines.*
Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.*
Ability to read a technical drawing, understand specifications and extract the necessary information.*
Work methodically with excellent numeracy, accuracy, and an analytical mind.*
Microsoft Office experience including Excel, Word, Outlook, produce cost calculations, quotations and manage customer contact.*
Excellent interpersonal skills, be able to build rapport and trust with others to forge meaningful business relationships.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000.00-26,000.00 per year
