About the Role
------------------
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Technical Admin Assistant to join our regional delivery team. This role supports up to 100 operational staff and plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our pipeline protection, fault management, and purchasing processes.
What You'll Be Doing
------------------------
In this varied and fast-paced role, you will:
Manage aerial surveillance reports and third-party enquiries to protect high-pressure pipelines
Liaise with helicopter pilots, external customers, and internal teams to ensure safety and compliance
Monitor and manage faults on the Gas Transmission Network, coordinating responses with GNCC and operations teams
Administer Lone Working Procedures and emergency communications
Raise and manage purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
Provide administrative support across travel bookings, IS equipment, workshops, and internal communications
Support planning and performance teams with data, reports, and asset-related enquiries
About You

Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
A collaborative mindset and ability to support team decision-making
Key Requirements & Experience
----------------------------------
Experience in a technical or administrative support role
Familiarity with fault management systems and purchasing processes
Ability to interpret technical reports and maps (e.g. OS maps, grid references)
Strong IT skills and ability to manage multiple systems and tasks
