About the Role:
SMW AUTOBLOK-Telbrook is now seeking an experienced Administrator to support our dynamic design and sales team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional administrator with experience in technical sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support across the
Design and Sales department
, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Prepare accurate quotations
using our internal MRP system experience with MRP systems is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided*. Support ongoing projects and related administrative tasks, liaising effectively with teams across all areas of the business.
Maintain and update customer databases and records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Manage
digital file transfers
and organise online data in line with company protocols.
Maintain internal
file systems
and carry out regular document housekeeping.
Respond to customer emails in a
professional, timely, and customer-focused manner
.
Handle incoming calls and emails, directing queries to the appropriate team members.
Take and distribute
meeting minutes
, ensuring clear follow-up actions are recorded and communicated.
Oversee
diary management
, scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating availability for internal and external contacts.
Work collaboratively with other administrators, offering support across departments as needed.
Provide administrative
absence cover
for colleagues to ensure continuity of service.
Skills & Experience:
Must have a minimum 5 years' experience
in a similar administrative role, ideally within an engineering environment
Proven ability to
prepare quotations
and handle related sales documentation
Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
, particularly
Excel
, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Familiarity with
MRP systems
is preferred (training provided*) Highly organised with excellent
time management
