Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Lead in reviewing environmental, legal, and regulatory factors.
• Assist with planning applications and other statutory submissions.
• Coordinate and review pre-project surveys (e.g., land surveys), ensuring outcomes inform the design process.
• Prepare and present design proposals using CAD and/or Revit, along with hand-drawing techniques, under the guidance of the Project Lead.
• Advise clients on suitable contract types and procurement routes.
• Develop detailed material and construction specifications, providing informed recommendations.
• Conduct risk assessments during the design stages.
• Evaluate building performance and compile maintenance and operational data.
• Advise on strategies for refurbishment, reuse, recycling, and deconstruction.

Skills & Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect (post-Part III) or qualified Technologist with strong technical design experience.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical information with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop; strong Revit skills are highly desirable.
• Experience across multiple sectors is beneficial, with a preference for transportation or aviation projects.

Personal Attributes

• Passionate about technical design and detail, with a strong interest in sustainable architecture.
• Collaborative and proactive, thriving within a supportive studio environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ambitious and motivated to take on responsibility and grow within the team.
• Skilled in Revit, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
