We're looking for a Technical Assistant to join our team in a full-time, on-site role. With supportive colleagues, you'll help ensure we meet the highest standards in food safety and compliance. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented team player to join our Technical function in a permanent, full-time, on-site role (Aberlour, Moray / 38 hours per week).



RESPONSIBILITIES



As a key support to the Technical team, you'll contribute to food safety documentation, regulatory compliance, and product quality. Your work will help ensure everything from customer specs to export paperwork is accurate and up to date.



Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation for finished products and customer specifications Supporting the creation of technical export documents Assisting to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (national and international) Keeping up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes Supporting taste panels and benchmark tastings Assisting with audits and technical projects Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business

What We're Looking For


Essential Skills & Experience
A methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability Confident with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly numerate with the ability to follow procedures precisely Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively A team player with strong interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills
Experience in a food manufacturing or technical environment Background in technical administration or similar roles
