What's the role?
SMS Bolton Training Academy is dedicated to providing high-quality training and development programs aimed at enhancing skills and competencies in various industries. With a commitment to employee ownership and a supportive work environment, we prioritize the growth and well-being of our team members. You will be working 40 contractual hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in the development of the training centre
Day to day maintenance of the Academy.
Support trainers during sessions and facilitate hands-on learning experiences for participants.
Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment used in training environments.
Order equipment for the Academy
Maintain stock levels of tools, uniform and equipment to supply to engineers.
Keep accurate records of equipment issued
Calibration of equipment
Collaborate with other team members to enhance course offerings and operational efficiency.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Some electrical and or plumbing qualification and experience would be desirable.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Able to undertake maintenance jobs.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in using various software and technological tools relevant to training.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with learners and colleagues
Relevant experience in a technical support or training role is preferred.
