Our Technical Assistants are vital support members who work closely with the Service Engineering Lead Engineer and the wider service engineering team to ensure the successful execution and enhancement of our systems. They provide essential technical and administrative support for service activities, helping to deliver valuable system solutions with excellent operational rigour.

Key Responsibilities



Technical Support:

o Assist the Lead Engineer and multidiscipline engineering team in power systems, power conversion, automation, control, and mechanical integration projects o Support preparation of technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables o Assist with testing procedures, commissioning activities, and system upgrades under supervision o Help

co-ordinate

technical activities between Commissioning, Service, and third-party teams

Project Administration:

o Support monitoring and tracking of service engineering project budgets and timelines o Assist with project documentation management and filing systems o Help maintain design reviews, quality control records, and change management documentation o Support risk management processes and compliance with company guidelines

Team

Co-ordination

o Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders o Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, and technical reviews o Support improvement initiatives and cost

optimisation

with teams from other business units as required

Customer and Technical Interface:

o Assist with customer communications and technical enquiries under guidance o Support preparation of technical presentations and customer documentation o Help translate customer requirements into actionable technical tasks o Assist with component specification activities for drives, motors, transformers, and switchboards

Qualifications and Experience



Essential Requirements:

o Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical discipline o 0-3 years of experience in engineering or technical support

roles

o Basic understanding of power engineering, electrical systems, or automation o Strong

analytical

and problem-solving abilities o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills o Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and technical documentation tools

Preferred Qualifications:

o Exposure to power generation, conversion, transmission, or distribution systems o Familiarity with LV and MV electrical systems, drives, and motors o Experience with project

co-ordination

or technical administration o Knowledge of quality control and documentation management systems o Customer service orientation and professional communication skills o Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments
