Your Role
As the Technical Building Manager, you will:
Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical systems, ensuring their reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Act as the Health and Safety lead for the site, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to building services.
Manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high operational standards.
Be the key point of contact for all technical queries, acting as a source of expertise and confidence across the site.
Collaborate with the Cluster Facilities Manager and Cluster Procurement Manager on procurement activities to ensure effective sourcing of services and equipment.
Lead a team of site operatives and establish strong relationships with suppliers dedicated to the specialist systems on site.
What We're Looking For
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience in managing complex building systems in an educational or similar environment.
A strong technical background and expertise in building services, including HVAC, electrical systems, and BMS.
Leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments.
A Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
