Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for automotive parts and materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules and quality standards. .
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications for audit purposes.
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive procurement or materials management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Experience in Powertrain and Chassis an advantage
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contractual terms.
Familiarity with sourcing strategies related to automotive parts and components; experience in e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Understanding of procurement processes including contracts management, inventory management, production planning, and merchandising.
Ability to analyze market data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams across departments.
