Technical Cleaner - Nights

Slough

The role is offered on a

full-time, permanent basis, working a rotating 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

The shift will start at 6.00 p.m. and end at 6.00 a.m. although a level of flexibility is required.

Your new role

This is a pivotal role to the site, in ensuring the shopfloor and communal areas are kept clean, as well as assisting with minor engineering and maintenance tasks to support the delivery of an effective and efficient site laundry operation.

What will I be doing?

Carrying out high level factory cleaning and cleaning machinery; Assisting the engineers with minor tasks e.g. fitting belts, removing and replacing guards and other maintenance tasks; Supporting the Site Engineering Manager with ad-hoc project work.

What do I need to apply:

Our ideal candidate will hold a MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) licence or the ability to pass the licence during probation period (CLEAN would pay for this), as there is a lot of high-level cleaning - a head for heights is a must!



Ideally you will have some mechanical knowledge to be able to support the engineers with basic tasks, and will understand the principles of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out); a safety procedure that is used to ensure dangerous equipment is properly shut off and not able to be used.



You will also need to be able to work on your own initiative, have good communication skills and can manage your time effectively. You will need proof of Right to Work in the UK and be aged 18 or over (for Health & Safety reasons).
