FIND are a specialist staffing business servicing the Further Education & Apprenticeship markets across the UK. We are delighted to be representing an inspirational and well respected Cambridge based centre of learning to hire a Technical Construction (Architecture & Built Environment) Lecturer.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of Technical Construction programmes. Ensure all teaching is in line with awarding body requirements to promote student achievement. Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, and electronic resources. Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment. Carry out moderation, assessment, and verification processes. Provide tutorial guidance to students, track and review their progress, and communicate feedback to learners, parents/guardians, and employers. Maintain industrial links and professional development within the Technical Construction sector.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Industry experience within the Technical Constructionsector. A minimum Level 5 vocational qualification in a Construction area. Ability to deliver inspirational teaching to learners of varying ages and abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to student success and development. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Desirable:

Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one). Experience in assessing and verifying vocational qualifications. Familiarity with integrating core skills such as Maths and English into vocational learning.
