Provide application expertise to OmniVista clients consisting of Fortune 100 Firms, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, and Asset Managers
Work directly with the business and technology stakeholders to define and document requirements, identify gaps and drive robust, scalable solutions
Lead training sessions for Portfolio Managers, Traders, Middle Office and IT on new functionality
Establish and maintain best practices in requirements gathering, testing best practices, development standards and team communication on teams comprised of both firm and client team members
Support client operations and workflows
Establish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levels
Coordinate projects with stakeholders to ensure delivery meets their expectations. Monitor and report on progress, potential risks and changes to the project scope or timeline
Coordinate with external software vendors and managed service providers to ensure timely delivery of client requirements and timely resolution of issues
Education/Certification:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Investments preferred
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience with Charles River is a must
Knowledge of the full order life-cycle, diverse investment strategies, complex derivatives and trading compliance is preferred
1-2 years of experience at an investment firm or major software vendor preferred
Must have the skills needed for business requirements gathering, project management and user testing management
Understanding of different project methodologies, Agile, SDLC, etc
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ideal candidate can react to a changing environment, enjoys a challenge and is able to quickly gain the trust and confidence of diverse clients
