This role supports the smooth flow of customer orders from quotation to delivery. Responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing sales orders, updating internal systems, and ensuring accurate scheduling information is communicated clearly. The role involves working closely with the technical and production teams to ensure data is correct, deadlines are met, and customers are kept informed.
Job Responsibilities
Process timely quotes and sales orders for all fabrications and related products, complying with company checking procedures to ensure accuracy.
Ensure all orders meet financial requirements (e.g. account credit or proforma payments) prior to production.
Input and update fabrication jobs on the Gantt chart, coordinating with production, procurement, logistics and technical teams to ensure job sequencing, material availability, timely delivery, and clear communication with customers.
Adjust schedules as needed to address delays, material shortages, or urgent orders, while considering changes to staff overtime and customer lead times to maintain sustainable production schedules and efficient resource use.
Demonstrate a customer-first mindset by responding promptly to requirements and utilising the CRM system to track leads.
Be mindful of company costs, striving for cost-effective solutions in all areas of work.
Work collaboratively as part of a team through day-to-day support and ad-hoc holiday cover.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace, ensure timely filing and shredding of paperwork, and carry out other tasks or duties as required.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required
Experience in a processing or coordination role, ideally in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
