Overview of the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented colleague to lead and manage IT deployment initiatives. This role involves overseeing the prioritization and execution of deployment activities, requests for new installations, moves and changes, along with acquisition and IT disposal activity, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational timelines.

The role will work flexibly depending on required activity, such as working for up to 2 hours after a pharmacy closes to support with securing data and ensuring suppliers disconnect and secure hardware securely to approved standards. Work pattern will be explained during the interview process.

Main Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of multiple concurrent IT hardware and software deployments across the pharmacy estate. Manage third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment with project timelines and holding them accountable for delivery performance. Attend weekly project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor progress and resolve issues. Monitor and track third-party expenditure against approved budgets, ensuring financial control. Maintain a strong technical understanding of deployed changes and proactively identify interdependencies across projects. Engage with Subject Matter Experts to ensure rollout plans are comprehensive and account for business impact. Develop and maintain detailed deployment and technical documentation for each rollout. Oversee all IMAC requests and manage IT asset acquisition activities for the IT team. Coordinate and execute IT activity related to acquisition and disposals.
