?Shenton Group is on the lookout for an ?Technical Support and Design Engineer to join our Technical ?team!

?

What's the role?

?

As a Technical Support and Design Engineer within the Technical Team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support to both colleagues and clients, while representing the Shenton Group brand with professionalism and integrity.

?

Your responsibilities will include designing generator control systems, mechanical ventilation, acoustic solutions, fuel systems, and electrical distribution layouts. You'll also provide hands-on support in our on-site workshop, assisting with testing and commissioning activities.

?

This is a fantastic hybrid role that offers a mix of office-based design work and site visits across the UK, supporting both the Sales and Projects teams. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a tangible impact in a dynamic technical environment.

?What do you need?

?

We're looking for someone with a positive, curious mindset and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients. Your communication skills should be well-rounded and you should be supportive in training and sharing knowledge.

?

You should have at least 3 years experience in the industry, or a similar field, and have a strong practical knowledge in either electrical or mechanical engineering. A solid knowledge of laptop based bespoke engine system analysis and control programmes such as Comap PC Suite/DSE Configuration Suite is essential.
