Technical Internal Sales - Lighting

Due to continued growth and expansion of our product portfolio, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced internal, technical sales coordinator to join our passionate team. The business is well respected within its specialist market, with a long history of bringing quality products to market. For the past decade, the business has become more streamlined, innovative and future ready, whilst retaining the core identity of an established organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys having an impact through their work. Based in Glasgow, you will be responsible for:

answering incoming technical sales calls

proactively generating sales leads

providing excellent customer service

maintaining a continuing relationship with existing customers

working with our lighting designers to identify and specify the correct lighting products from our portfolio in a timely manner

working with the marketing department to maintain the CRM system and ensure timely follow up of all quotation and samples sent out

providing regular and accurate sales reporting

entering of sales orders and quotations

Ideally with an electrical background, you should have at least 5 years' experience of working with industrial products or within an electrical wholesalers. This role will suit someone who:

has a 'can do' attitude

is passionate about customer service

has excellent communication and IT skills.

has experience of working with lighting products

is hands on and driven to succeed

Is prepared to attend lighting courses to expand their knowledge and willing to consider studying for a lighting qualification
