We are looking for a bright and ambitious graduate form ideally an IT or mathematics background to join Compare Insurance in the role of Data Analyst. In this role you will work closely with both our digital marketing and management teams. You will be responsible for analysing data within the business to create meaningful information. This information is used to guide our marketing activities as well as key performance indicators for our team. You will be working with information on our data management and dialler systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge constructively.

Extensive experience of translating complex business needs and problems into actionable business requirements.

Considerable experience of creating and maintaining detailed analysis documentation, high level and detailed business requirements documents (BRD's), user stories, use cases, functional specifications and process diagrams etc.

About the Role



We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Tech Lead

to join our team and drive the technical direction of key projects. As a Tech Lead, you will be required to have a strong blend of analytical skills, business insight, and technical understanding particularly in working with tools like Excel, Tableau, and API integrations. You'll be at the forefront of helping the business make smarter decisions through effective data use and digital process improvements.

Key Responsibilities



Technical Leadership:

Guide a team of remote engineers through the design, development, and deployment of software solutions.

Architecture & Design:

Define scalable and maintainable architecture, ensuring long term viability of projects.

Project Ownership:

Take responsibility for technical deliverables, timelines, and quality of project outcomes.

Collaboration:

Work closely with team managers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into workable technical solutions.

Team Development:

Support team members in their technical and professional growth.

Innovation:

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively suggesting improvements or new tools.

Skills and Experience Required:



Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst role with a data/reporting focus. Experience in a leadership role within a technical environment. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and automation using VBA or Power Query. Strong experience with Tableau, including building dashboards and integrating with APIs or cloud databases. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and data extraction/integration methods. Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift, Azure Data Lake, or Google BigQuery). Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing data from relational databases. Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments. Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
