What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of a close-knit 2-person team, you'll collaborate with production, hygiene, and technical departments to ensure our equipment and facilities are operating at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing and resolving faults on fast-paced production lines Performing planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance Maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment including flow wrappers and ultrasonic cutters Supporting site-wide maintenance including building and infrastructure repairs Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards Identifying and implementing equipment improvements

What We're Looking For

We're after someone hands-on, reliable, and technically skilled, with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential:

Experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (4 on, 2 off), including weekends and bank holidays Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing

Desirable:

Experience with flow wrap machinery 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification Knowledge of H&S and food safety systems Engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

Pay: 38,000.00-46,000.00 per year
