Allied Aerosystems Limited specialise in the calibration and repair of test equipment from all sectors of aerospace, engineering, automotive and manufacturing.

We are seeking to appoint a Technical Calibration Manager to be responsible for the capability and competence of the laboratory, which will include the test and calibration of measurement equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and an understanding of the application and the use of calibration equipment, together with knowledge of test/calibration and traceability requirements. It is essential to have an engineering qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of UKAS and BSI.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, together with excellent problem solving skills. In addition, the competence to work unsupervised/independently, be self motivated and committed to their self development. The ability to work collaboratively with others, adapt to a changing environment, undertake a challenge, remain calm whilst under pressure are important qualities of the role. (Please note, due to the nature of the laboratory manual handling of equipment is required).
