Purpose of Role




Ensure that the requirements of the JSP375 are complied with in all activities undertaken on the Establishments within area of responsibility.


To accept responsibility for the practical implementation and operation of the JSP375 to support the effective and timely delivery of planned and response maintenance, in conjunction with billable works.





Review electrical project works and work closely with the project Senior Managers and their teams. Advise project on all MOD requirements and liaise directly with the AE as and when required.


Responsibilities




Ensure as far as reasonably practical that all persons within the Service Delivery Area observe the requirements of JSP375. Act as an Authorised Person to support Operational Teams in implementation of JSP 375 Provide professional and technical support and advice to the site team, Supply Chain, DIO and end users and Project teams. Review site risk registers, follow maintenance and management processes, notify Management of any defects on equipment or systems and attained and contribute to risk meetings as required. Reduce the number of corrective actions (CARs) raised and close existing CARs within agreed timescales. Liaise closely with Authorised Engineers and take ownership of personal training plan, familiarisation and knowledge across all sites within the Service Delivery Area, maintain accurate records within personal logbook for site attendance and activities undertaken.

Essential Qualifications/Skills




IEng in electrical engineering or have the necessary qualifications to achieve the standard within 12 months, Level 3 health and safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH general/construction certificate, Clear understanding of CDM DV Security Clearance or ability to obtain
