Job Title: Technical Parts Advisor (Revenue Team)



Job Purpose



To drive revenue by converting customer enquiries into accurate, diagnostic-led sales of new and used tractor parts and consumables--via phone, email, in-store, or digital channels. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to farmers and agricultural professionals, using your mechanical or agricultural engineering knowledge to identify the correct part, recommend solutions, and close the sale.

As a vital member of the revenue team, you are responsible for guiding customers through both the technical and purchasing journey--from first contact to confirmed order. Your role is dual-focused: selling assertively while offering diagnostic support to ensure the right fix, first time. You'll work closely with the Revenue Manager to remove obstacles to conversion and will be fully accountable for your sales KPIs.

Profile



You are a technically-minded salesperson with hands-on experience in agricultural or mechanical systems. A sound knowledge of John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case and New Holland tractors is desirable but not essential. You thrive in fast-paced customer-facing environments and have the confidence to both diagnose problems and sell solutions.

Key Responsibilities



Diagnostic Sales:

Guide customers through troubleshooting their tractor issues, using your technical understanding to identify and recommend the correct parts.

Customer-Focused Sales Execution:

Handle all inbound enquiries (phone, WhatsApp, email, in-store, online) professionally and empathetically, delivering the right part and the right advice, fast.

Own Your Targets:

Be fully accountable for your personal KPIs--your focus is on achieving sales goals through technical credibility and commercial sharpness.

Quote Conversion:

Convert quotes into confirmed orders with speed and accuracy; escalate complex or stuck enquiries to the Revenue Manager without delay.

CRM Discipline:

Accurately record all customer interactions, quotes, diagnostics, and actions in NY'Cloud, ensuring a seamless sales trail.

Proactive Workflow Management:

Stay on top of all your quotes, tasks, and follow-ups daily. Your pipeline is your responsibility.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Used Parts, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate stock availability and timely fulfilment.

Campaign Promotion:

Actively promote relevant marketing campaigns, seasonal offers, or upsell opportunities during sales conversations.

Performance Reviews:

Attend weekly 1:1s and team sales meetings with full visibility of your pipeline, performance, and diagnostics-led wins and learnings.

Requirements:



Hands-on experience in agricultural or mechanical engineering, or a strong technical understanding of farm machinery and parts.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language.

Proven track record in sales or customer service--ideally within agriculture, machinery, or automotive sectors.

A natural problem-solver who enjoys helping customers find practical solutions.

Comfortable working with CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline independently.

Commercially driven with a customer-first mindset.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5.00pm



Salary- basic 25,000 pa, after a probationary period we pay commission on sales. Opportunity to earn up to 30,000 pa.
