At World Heat Cylinders, a premier manufacturer of hot water cylinders and buffer vessels, we cater to both domestic and commercial applications with a focus on innovation and quality. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Sales Person to join our team in Dukinfield, Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing top-tier customer service and support while working in a technical, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Engagement: Effectively handle enquiries from customers via phone and email through Microsoft Outlook, offering expert advice on our range of hot water cylinders and buffer vessels.

- Quotation Creation: Use an Excel tool to accurately and efficiently generate quotations tailored to the customers' needs.

- Order Management: Process orders through SAGE Line 50 with precision and care.

- Technical Design: Utilise I-logic in Autodesk Inventor to produce CAD drawings that meet specific customer requirements.

- Manufacturing Coordination: Issue works orders into manufacture and maintain open lines of communication between the shop floor and customers, ensuring a seamless manufacturing process.

- Delivery Arrangement: Organise and oversee the delivery of products, ensuring they meet customer timelines and expectations.

- Post-Delivery Support: Provide responsive and knowledgeable support for any technical or operational queries from customers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in a technical sales role, ideally within the heating systems industry, with specific knowledge of hot water cylinders and buffer vessels.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SAGE Line 50, and Autodesk Inventor (I-logic).

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with both customers and colleagues.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
