Junior Technical Project Manager

Position Overview
As a Junior Technical Project Manager (Client-Facing), you'll be instrumental in delivering maritime autonomy projects from proposal to deployment. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, software development, and operations teams to translate client goals into actionable plans and ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding their needs and maintaining clear, proactive communication.
Lead scheduling, track timelines, monitor budgets, identify and mitigate risks, and manage change to ensure projects remain on track.
Work closely with engineering leads to allocate and manage project resources effectively.
Collaborate with the Sales team to interpret contracts and proposals into clear Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
Work with the Software Development team to translate FRDs into detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
Draft, update, and maintain trials documentation, including test protocols, risk assessments, and compliance verification.
Foster close collaboration among Sales, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to ensure aligned objectives, transparency, and high-quality deliverables, Qualifications
Required:
1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in engineering or marine environments.
Experience with client-facing roles and cross-functional team coordination.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with generating FRDs and SRS documents.
Ability to manage schedules, budgets, priorities, and documentation workflows.
Preferred:
Exposure to software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and RAD).
Background or interest in maritime, robotics, AI, or autonomy domains.
