Technical Sales Assistant -- Renewable Heating (UK)

Help fast-track the UK's journey to low-carbon heating. We're a specialist provider of renewable heating systems and we're looking for a bright, motivated Technical Sales Assistant to join our busy team. If you love solving problems, writing clear, professional emails, and turning customer needs into smart, sustainable solutions--this is for you.

What you'll do

Be the first friendly voice for inbound sales enquiries (phone, email, live chat). Understand customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations from design information. Handle customer questions with patience and professionalism--no hard selling, ever. Manage payments (taking and requesting) with care and accuracy. Keep immaculate records, follow clear processes, and keep deals moving to deadlines. Learn the technical side of renewable heating so you can give confident, high-quality advice.
What you'll bring

Excellent communication skills and polished written English (spelling, grammar, tone). Empathy and active listening--you get what the client needs and why. Strong IT skills; comfortable learning new systems, procedures, and workflows. A creative, logical problem-solver who is proactive, efficient, and quick to learn. Able to juggle multiple tasks, use your initiative, and work well solo or in a team. Calm under pressure and consistent in a fast-moving environment.
It's a plus if you have

Experience in a technical sales or customer service role. Exposure to renewable energy or building services.
