We are now seeking a motivated Technical Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team to support our continued growth.
As a Technical Sales Assistant, you'll provide exceptional service by providing technical knowledge and support to clients, assisting with sales, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the trade counter.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Provide a positive experience for all customers at the trade counter, on the phone, and via email. Assist with inquiries, quotes, and product recommendations.
Customer Engagement
: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
Technical Support
: Develop a solid understanding of the product range to help customers make informed decisions (training will be provided).
Sales Support
: Assist the business development team in managing orders and building strong relationships with customers.
Store Operations
: Perform administrative duties to ensure the efficient running of the trade counter.
Product Knowledge
: Develop a deep understanding of our fire and security products, including Ajax alarms, Uniview & Vivotek surveillance systems, and access control, to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
Skills and Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and a proactive attitude.
A strong interest in technology and technical products.
Previous experience working directly with customers, especially in a face-to-face setting.
A friendly and professional phone manner.
Computer literate with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
Qualifications
A good standard of education and practical up-to-date IT skills.
Previous experience in the CCTV, security technology, or electronics industry.
Any relevant qualifications in technology or electronics.
