The primary responsibility of the Technical Sales Director is to lead the department and sell profitable long term managed IT services to prospective and existing clients while developing and maintaining strategic relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Firstly, lead the planning and execution of strategic opportunity, account, and territory development activities to achieve annual sales objectives.
Secondly, develop and grow qualified pipeline leveraging existing relationships.
Likewise, leverage and work effectively with service delivery leaders, technical subject matter experts, solution directors, pricing, and legal support in this process.
Furthermore, partner with Client Executives to grow revenue, increase profitability, and satisfaction with any assigned account responsibility.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry third party advisors and partners.
Engage with senior level stakeholders to advance profitable managed services opportunities through the deal approval process to successful conclusion with appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Gain insider status to influence the clients buying processes, primarily targeting senior management and individuals influencing the decision-making process.
Qualify opportunities to increase win rate effectiveness and overall client profitability.

Project Management and Service Delivery
Achievement of exceptional growth, maintain and improve on revenue forecasts
Delivery to agreed targets of gross margin
Ensure profitability of European operations
Report all activities to Business Development Director
Ensure all corporate policies and directives are adhered to
Maintain close working relationships with peer level in other geographies and departments in order to leverage Companys assets and knowledge.
Lastly, generate opportunities for growth either with existing clients or new target clients
General Responsibilities:
Must have excellent presentation skills and ability to lead client meetings, including orals presentations, involving all levels of both clients and management.
Likewise, have excellent writing skills.
Also, excellent time management, decision making, team building, and organizational skills.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
Firstly, bachelors degree in business, engineering or computer science preferred.
5 plus years experience in sales and enterprise account management.
Proven leadership skills in developing a sales focused department and managing a team of IT professionals.
Also, technical expertise on technology platforms and staffing/consultancy/agency businesses
Able to manage large scale projects and develop excellent relations with customer executives and to identify and win new business.
Confidence in making presentations to staff and client base
Will need to work with US teams to leverage existing client relationships who have a European footprint as well
