The UK operation is long-established and highly profitable, especially so in the last couple of years, selling locking solutions on the basis of their reliability, adaptability and availability.
Following a recent promotion, there is now a requirement for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the sales team taking over an existing customer base and new customer development in the Midlands, South West England and Wales. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales engineer looking to work in an organisation where products are sold on quality rather than purely on price. The current, and indeed potential, customer base is wide ranging, covering all manner of manufacturing and engineering environments as well as third party wholesalers, so applications are welcomed from sales professionals from a wide variety of industries, providing you possess a proven track record of managing existing customers, prospecting and developing new markets and delivering results in a largely autonomous environment.
You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to work with customers of all sizes, and an understanding that developing ten smaller clients may well be more profitable than chasing one large golden goose. You will receive full support from the internal sales team, especially with regards to lead generation, and enjoy a closer working relationship with the Sales, Operations and Managing Directors than you might previously have experienced. At the end of the day, our success will be directly related to yours, so you will be given all the tools and support possible to overachieve your targets.
