The Opportunity




SPIRAC is a leading provider of bespoke material handling solutions for the wastewater industry. With over 40 years of experience, we design and supply systems such as shaftless spiral conveyors, compactors inlet screens, and silo storage that keep critical water infrastructure moving efficiently and sustainably.



We're growing -- and we're now looking for two experienced Technical Sales Engineers, one based in the North and one in the South of the UK, to help us build stronger relationships, win work, and deliver real impact.

The Role




You'll act as the technical and commercial lead in your region, managing key accounts and driving new business. To succeed, you'll need to know your local area inside out -- the clients, the frameworks, and the opportunities -- so you can hit the ground running and make a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities:



Build and maintain strong customer relationships in your territory (North or South UK) Identify and secure new opportunities and long-term framework agreements Interpret tenders, P&IDs, and flow data to propose accurate, bespoke solutions Collaborate with in-house Engineering and Proposals teams for smooth handovers Represent SPIRAC at site visits, client meetings, trade events and exhibitions

The Person




We are looking for someone who:

has significant technical sales experience in water, wastewater, or similar engineering sectors has strong knowledge of your regional market and established local networks has demonstrated success with framework procurement and public sector bids has a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel is proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM software
