Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer/Estimator to join the team of our fast-growing, ambitious Company to help drive sales of its leak detection systems and services across the UK. The successful candidate will provide high quality service across our full sales process; including the preparation and delivery of quotations to customers, through to follow-up and sales close. They will also develop high quality, ongoing relationships with our customers, including Mechanical & Electrical contractors and specifiers.

Quotation/Tender preparation

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking information or quotations for our products and services, ensuring all customers receive a high level of customer service.

- Review and interpret documentation supplied by the customers for the purposes of advising on system design and subsequent quoting (specifications/equipment schedules, scematics, other drawings etc)

- In response to customer enquiries, prepare a variety of quotation types to suit the needs of the customer, including:

o Design of the system

o Calculating prices, costs and associated margins

o All accompanying documentation to produce a compliant bid.

o Schematics and marked-up drawings

- Use associated software packages to follow the sales process to close, including accessing and reviewing enquiries, preparing quotes, storing correspondence and documentation and noting information and changes in the sales stage, within the required timescales.

- Follow up on quoted projects for feedback and to build relationships with customers.

- Where necessary and appropriate, schedule and attend in-person/virtual meetings with customers to discuss tenders and projects

- Prepare and provide tender updates for monthly sales pipeline and weekly sales meetings.

- Where appropriate, build relationships with contractors/repeat customers to generate future project leads.

Order placement and handover

- At the point of order placement, work with the Project Coordinator to ensure all required information is provided for them to proceed with their role in processing orders and project delivery.

- As required, work with the Installation team to provide any required information at the time of project delivery to ensure implementation is per quotation and specification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-38,000.00 per year
