Technical Sales Executive
to help drive growth across our facilities services portfolio. This role is focused on building strong relationships with
Facilities Managers and property stakeholders
, understanding their operational challenges, and providing tailored technical solutions that add measurable value.

Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Facilities Managers, estate teams, and key operational stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact during the sales process.
Solution Selling
Develop a clear understanding of client needs within the built environment -- including maintenance, compliance, energy, and building performance. Present technical service solutions that address these needs and support long-term outcomes.
Proposal Development
Lead the development of sales proposals, including technical specifications, service scopes, and costings. Work closely with operational teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with delivery capabilities.
Commercial Responsibility
Produce cost models, pricing summaries, and supporting documents for each opportunity. Ensure proposals are commercially sound, clearly articulated, and aligned with client expectations.
Account Oversight
Support forecasting and pipeline reporting for sales activity. Contribute to account planning, handovers to delivery teams, and internal review meetings as required.
Contract Support
Collaborate with internal teams and legal advisors to support contract discussions. Assist with drafting and finalising terms and ensure all deal details are correctly documented.
Technical Knowledge & Market Awareness
Stay up to date with industry trends, FM regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to building management and infrastructure. Use this insight to inform client conversations and strengthen sales strategy.
Problem Solving & Client Advisory
Approach complex client issues with a solutions-led mindset. Help clients identify opportunities for improvement in their facilities operations and position Voltix as a long-term partner.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree preferred, or a strong mix of industry experience and relevant education
4+ years' experience in technical sales, business development, or solution consulting within FM or building services
Strong understanding of the needs and pressures facing Facilities Managers and estate teams
Proven ability to sell technical services or solutions into commercial or public sector estates
Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- able to explain services clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
High attention to detail, with strong organisational and commercial skills
Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Word
Confidence working independently, managing your own pipeline, and coordinating with internal teams
A positive, inquisitive mindset and a drive to solve client problems with practical, tailored solutions
