The Role



We are seeking a

Technical Sales Lead

to drive our strategic growth, forge new client partnerships, and shape sustainable substructure solutions that align with project ambitions and environmental targets.

Key Responsibilities



Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with developers, contractors, consultants, and architects. Lead technical sales proposals and presentations, clearly communicating SubTerra's innovative and sustainable value proposition. Collaborate with design, engineering, and estimating teams to develop optimised solutions that save time, costs, and CO?. Maintain market intelligence and competitor insights to inform strategic business development. Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring solutions meet technical, commercial, and sustainability objectives. Contribute to strategic planning to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

About You



Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or pre-construction within substructure, geotechnical, or structural construction sectors. Strong technical understanding of basements, piling, underpinning, and sustainable ground engineering solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Commercially astute with a strategic, solutions-focused mindset. Passionate about innovation and sustainability in construction. Degree-qualified , ideally in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred) though all degree qualified applicants with suitable experience will be considered.
