G&M Euro Tex are seeking a Technical Sales Account manager with excellent Commercial acumen to join our successful sales team at Claydon Business Park, Gt Blakenham, near Ipswich.
G&M Euro Tex (part of the Tex Group), specialises in bespoke power generation, providing high-quality products throughout the world. Our engineering design, fabrication, manufacture and finishing teams combine to serve a wide range of clients including the MOD, NHS, and National Grid, providing power generation solutions for warships to care homes. This provides a varied, technically challenging and rewarding environment in which to work. The key requirements and responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager will include but not be limited to the following:-
Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing marine accounts
Create and deliver technical quotations
Seek, engage, and progress Business Development opportunities
Translate customers ideas into tangible solutions
Attend meetings within the UK and overseas
Review and negotiation of client contracts, terms, and conditions
Reporting on performance, risks, opportunities, and commercial outlook to the MD
Operate as the single point of contact through the sales process
Collaborate with the Engineering Design Team, Production and Test to ensure the correct technical outcomes for the client
Candidate Profile
A history of business development/account growth underpinned by proven commercial awareness
Self-motivated and strategic in approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Proven sales experience of the marine and/or Industrial power generation market
Personable and emotionally intelligent with the ability to establish trust and rapport
A professional communicator with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders
Full clean UK driving licence required
You will have a strong proven track record in sales and be able to work independently. You will thrive at communicating confidently and accurately at all levels and possess exceptional organisational and presentation skills. Generator/Engine sales experience is required, coupled with the technical knowledge to seek solutions, to offer our clients the highest quality outcomes possible.
Salary dependent on skillset/relevant experience.
37.5 hours per week, no weekends, half day Fridays.
