Technical Sales Manager Industrial Manufacturing (aluminium Components)

Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of aluminium extrusion and metal component parts is now looking to appoint an experienced technical sales professional to oversee the company's major accounts, whilst helping to generate additional revenues across supporting industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities;

  • To promote and build long-term relationships with existing customers to develop repeat business.
  • Maintaining and increasing sales volumes in line with the companies KPIs.
  • To resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions in direct contact with Quality and Customer Service departments.
  • To liaise with accounting department making sure payment and credit terms are fulfil by the customers.
  • Proactively prospecting for new customers and sales opportunities aligned with the marketing strategy and sales plan.
  • To liaise with technical department to achieve effective management and problem solving.
  • To provide reports and customer visits in a timely manner using the company CRM.
  • To gather market information and prepare monthly sales reports.
  • To support and maintain company working practices and procedures.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will already be working within a similar technical sales capacity at the moment for another well-respected aluminium extrusion or component parts manufacturer, or diversely, could be working within the thermal component/electric parts sector, and would be familiar with selling a similar portfolio of products that would support the power distribution side of industry. Our client are market leaders in the manufacturing and supply of heatsinks, busbars, radiator ceilings, so naturally experience of those types of metals components would be highly desirable, although not essential.
Our client would be looking for somebody with a strong sense of career mobility and would expect the successful candidate to be able to assume a much more senior position in the short-term.
