Role Overview:
They are seeking a Technical Sales Support professional to play a key role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by managing and delivering post-sales technical assistance across our product range. This position is ideal for a technically-minded individual who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working directly with customers, and has a strong understanding of entertainment lighting and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
:
Provide post-sales technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to lighting fixtures, control systems, and associated equipment
Assist in product testing, diagnostics, and fault resolution--both remotely and on-site if required
Maintain accurate service records and customer communication logs
Collaborate with the sales and product teams to provide technical guidance and support
Create and maintain user guides, technical bulletins, and product FAQs
Assist with returns (RMA) processing, including inspection and evaluation of returned products
Support product demonstrations, training sessions, and trade events as a technical advisor
Provide feedback to engineering and product development teams regarding recurring technical issues or improvement opportunities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, industry standards, and technological developments
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Solid understanding of entertainment lighting technology, including DMX, control systems, LEDs, and effects
Previous experience in a technical support, service, or product support role (ideally within the AV or entertainment lighting industry)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-focused with a friendly, patient, and professional manner
Confident in communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical customers
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Good IT skills, including MS Office and CRM or support ticket systems
Experience with products from ADJ, eLumen8, Equinox, or similar brands
Background in live events, AV integration, or theatre tech
Familiarity with protocols like Art-Net, sACN, or wireless DMX
Basic electronics repair skills (e.g., soldering, PCB diagnostics)
