Technical Sales & Support Advisor
to join our friendly team in Camberley.
This is an
office-based technical sales role
, ideal for someone with a background or strong interest in
welding, fabrication, engineering, or industrial equipment
.
You'll handle incoming enquiries --
no cold calling
-- providing expert product advice, preparing quotations, and supporting customers with troubleshooting, returns, and repairs. Product knowledge and an understanding of how welding and industrial equipment are used day-to-day will be key to success in this role.
Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls and emails, offering
technical advice and quotations
Support customers in selecting suitable welding and industrial products
Provide aftersales assistance, including troubleshooting and processing returns or repairs
Build and maintain in-depth product knowledge across our full range
Process orders and quotations using
Xero Accounting Software
Liaise with suppliers to source products efficiently
Handle payments by phone and at the trade counter
Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales
Essential Skills & Experience
Technically minded, with an understanding of -- or the desire to build technical knowledge of -- welding, fabrication, and industrial tools or machinery
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using computers in a busy office environment, including Microsoft Office, email, and order management systems -- this is an
office-based role with a high volume of digital communication and order processing
Professional, customer-focused attitude

Previous experience in

Experience using Xero or similar business systems
