The Role

The IT and cyber security sector are in a constant state of evolution, offering significant opportunities for businesses. Digital transformation is a major focus, and business leaders need guidance on leveraging technology to enhance their operations. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager/Director to join our IT Technical Sales team, demonstrating a track record of growing and retaining key accounts in the IT and Cyber Security sector. Your expertise in building customer relationships and developing strategies will make you the trusted advisor for our most prestigious clients, offering guidance on emerging technologies. As a leading managed services provider in IT Services, cybersecurity, communications, and connectivity, this role is an exciting opportunity in a fast-moving industry with ever-emerging technologies. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking to improve their efficiency, productivity, and agility through technology.

Working closely with other Account Owners, Product Specialists, and Solution Consultants, you will also provide advice to our larger customers across the business, identifying sales growth opportunities. A genuine passion for technology and previous experience in the IT industry are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of allocated customer accounts.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets, including contract renewals, contract value growth, and introducing IT and Cybersecurity services to other customers.
  • Cross-Sell into existing Telecoms accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact, offering advice and guidance on relevant technologies and solutions.
  • Present recommendations for new solutions and services tailored to customer needs.
  • Attend scheduled meetings with team members and Line Manager to discuss potential pipeline and ongoing activity.
  • Stay updated on technological developments to engage in discussions regarding potential benefits for customers.
What will you have?
  • Must have experience within Azure, M365, Anti-Virus and IT Support.
  • Experience manging accounts at a minimum of 200-300 Seats.
  • Ideal candidate will have 3-5 Years Minimum experience in either an Account Management or Hybrid AM/BDM Role.
  • Demonstrable experience managing key accounts in an IT environment with proven sales growth results.
  • Experience in delivering strategic IT roadmaps.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering trust.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
