Role:

Technical SEO Specialist/Senior Account Manager - Hybrid Fixed Term - 12 months starting February 2026.

Salary:

30,000 - 40,000 DOE

Description:

We are looking to employ an experienced SEO Account Manager to join our dynamic Digital Marketing Team. This exciting role would be ideally suited to driven individuals already working in SEO at mid/senior level and looking to grow their managerial experience whilst working with a variety of clients on their local and national campaigns to deliver results.

HeadRed is an innovative digital communications agency based in Coventry, Warwickshire. For over 25 years we've provided bespoke online solutions including website design, development and digital marketing to a wide range of local and national clients across various industries.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO and a strong grasp of essential SEO tools and techniques. As a Technical SEO Specialist/Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the online presence of our clients, ensuring their digital marketing strategies align with their business goals.Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave with potential for permanent opportunity dependent upon agency growth.

Hybrid role:

2 x days a week in Coventry office, Tuesday and Wednesdays

Key Responsibilities:

- Ownership of client communications, reporting on campaign activity, results and recommendations - Carrying out SEO technical audits and website migrations

- Planning SEO strategy and delivery for client base, including a mix of local and national businesses.

- Managing campaign time allocations and quarterly roadmaps

- Writing up proposals for potential new clients

- Working with our development and PPC teams to continue the growth for our client base

- Sharing knowledge with other team members to continue growth of their skillsets

Experience:

- 2+ years experience in an SEO role- Experience managing client relationships and scheduling work for retainer hours

- Happy to build relationships and confidently communicate with client base - Confident using key SEO tools/platforms such as GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush (or similar) ...

- Experience carrying out detailed SEO audits and migrations
