We are looking for a Technical Service Representative to join the team at our facility in Castleford.
The Person
A well-rounded individual with excellent communication skills. You will have the desire to develop your potential to liaise at all levels within the organization, aiming to cultivate professional working relationships.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service at all times.
You will demonstrate good organisational, problem solving, negotiating and time management skills. Working as a team player to ensure end goals are reached.
Experience of Microsoft Office would be an advantage.
The Role
You will be required to provide Technical Service administrative support to the technical service team in order to successfully achieve customer demand and maintain good customer relationships.
Responsibilities will include:
Liaise with Customers and PMA's regarding New Projects, and Label Specifications (this can include discussions about all aspects of the label design, print, costing and timings)
Work closely with the Customer Services & Graphics teams to ensure all areas of the process are captured before jobs go to press
Attend Print Production Meetings (PPM) when required
Review new artworks
Create Print Specifications for new projects
Create Costing for proofing exercises.
Create Syspro estimates.
Create Colour Standards, to customer specifications
Raise and amend CMS's
Maintenance of Sequence families for all related Customers.
Process new artworks, which arrive on a regular basis
Raise Studio Orders for new and amended artworks, or transfer of work
Order tooling for new projects
Work with Customers when attending onsite proofing and press approvals
Act on behalf of Customer, for proofing and press approvals, when they are unable to attend themselves
Organise De-bugs / raise trial sheets for new projects
Keep control of designated Customers/ranges
Actively support and promote CI initiatives within your areas.
Actively seek process improvements and cost saving initiatives throughout the business.
Continually improve safety records by addressing both physical issues and employee safety attitudes.
Understand the Company Quality, Hygiene and Environmental Policies in relation to the relevant standards (specifically BS EN ISO 9001 & PS 9000) and actively promote these within the business.
