Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for a Technical Manager to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team on site in Central London.
The purpose of the role will be to ensure that our delivery performance is in line with contract obligations and Building Services business processes. These services must be delivered to budget expectation or better and with high levels of customer satisfaction.
You'll:
Manage all Building Services directly employed staff to ensure that their performance meets the agreed and acceptable standards for the service delivery
Manage agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring best use of all resources to ensure targets are met
Be responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on site
Be responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site
Be responsible for managing the site P&L account to agreed margins
Recruit any new staff required on site, whether temporary or full time staff to ensure site is adequately resourced for service delivery
Manage the client relationship on a daily basis
Manage all reports required by either client or Skanska Building Services management team
Any other duties as reasonably requested by Skanska Building Services senior management
Become AP for your site or sites if required
We're looking for:
Must have experience delivering a Hard Services FM contract
Experience in business development
Management qualification
Experience of managing large commercial sites with values in excess of 1.5m p.a.
Management experience of service delivery in high profile offices
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients
Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
