Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a skilled Technical Services Testing Specialist who will report to the Quality Control Manager. You will maintain the high standards of technical support and professionalism expected of ARDEX UK Ltd/Building Adhesives Ltd by providing test regimes ensuring quality, support to the Commercial Teams and driving our offer to complimentary manufacturers.

We are looking for an individual who is practical, methodical, professional, and experienced in the construction industry. You will also be required to keep abreast of Customer requirements and assist in innovation driven through the Company's Product Working Group.

As our Technical Services Testing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the Business provides the most competitive technical service in the industry.

Responsibilities & Skills:

Provide testing of Building Adhesives Limited/ARDEX UK Limited products

Provide practical testing of competitor products

Provide practical testing of complimentary products and systems

Compile and circulate test reports and updates

Provide technical support and/or innovative ideas for the Commercial team

Ensure that all generated literature meets with the timeline and requirement of the Company's Product Working Group

Qualifications & Experience

GCSE Maths and English (Grades A - C or equivalent) Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical capacity in the flooring and/or tiling sector preferred. Prior laboratory experience preferred but not essential. Must be able to communicate both internally and externally at all levels Must be customer-focused Must be professional and flexible Must be able to resolve problems in a calm and efficient manner Must challenge and introduce new ideas and solutions
