Overall purpose of the role:

Royce is seeking a Technical Skills Training Manager to help deliver on the Institute\'s strategic plan for scientific training and technical skills. The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering training content in collaboration with researchers, experimental scientists, and technical staff across the institute\'s partners and external stakeholders. Comprising of knowledge-sharing courses, webinars, practical skills workshops, and online materials, the programme will align with Royce\'s mission pillars and meet the long-term needs of the materials science community across academia, SMEs, RTOs, and industry.

The post holder will be a proactive, skilled, organised, and motivated individual; ideally with a background in materials science and engineering, or with a background in an adjacent scientific field. Previous experience in the delivery of training courses at post-graduate level, or within a continuing professional development environment, would be a great asset in the role.
