About the Role

Reports to:Solutions and Implementation Manager
We are seeking an Technical Solutions Lead to help shape, design, and deliver innovative solutions for a wide range of enterprise customers with a focus on, but not limited to RFID. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that blends technical creativity, practical fieldwork, and commercial awareness to deliver tailored solutions that address real-world business challenges.
Working closely with the sales, professional services, project, and engineering teams, you'll engage with clients across logistics, warehousing, retail, field services, and more--supporting the full solution lifecycle from discovery and design through to proof of concept and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical design and architecture of RFID systems, including tag placement, reader selection, antenna layout, and backend integration
Work closely with Account Managers to understand customer needs and shape technically sound, commercially viable solutions
Conduct onsite surveys and discovery sessions to assess operational environments, workflows, and technical requirements
Develop clear, comprehensive solution proposals, diagrams, and supporting documentation
Support the design, setup, and delivery of Proof of Concept (POC)
Work closely with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business objectives
Stay informed on emerging RFID technologies, middleware platforms, and partner offerings to continuously enhance industry knowledge
Participate in customer meetings and site visits as the technical subject matter expert (SME)
Provide post-deployment support and assist in knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams
Identify additional opportunities for upsell or cross-sell through technical engagement and relationship building
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience designing and implementing RFID systems (e.g., Zebra, Impinj, Nordic ID), including reader configuration, antenna placement, and environmental tuning
Solid background in enterprise mobility, barcode scanning, and edge computing technologies
Strong working knowledge of RTLS principles, middleware platforms and system integration
Familiarity with software platforms such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RFID middleware, and Asset Management systems
Experience conducting customer-facing workshops, and technical discovery sessions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a range of audiences
Strong time management skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
Proficient in technical documentation, proposal writing, and solution diagrams
Exposure to MDM platforms such as 42Gears or SOTI
Experience across multiple verticals (e.g., logistics, warehousing, retail, field services) with flexibility to adapt to different customer environments
Pre-sales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable
