Technical Supervisor
to join our team and help maintain and elevate our technical standards across the production floor.
The Role
As the
Technical Supervisor
, you will support the Technical Manager in ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest safety and quality standards. You will be a key contact for technical and quality matters on site, working closely with production, hygiene, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor food safety, hygiene, and quality systems across production areas.
Conduct routine GMP, CCP, and internal audits.
Lead the response and investigation into customer complaints and non-conformances.
Ensure compliance with BRC, customer standards, and legal requirements.
Support and train staff on quality and hygiene procedures.
Liaise with suppliers and third-party auditors where required.
Maintain accurate records for traceability and technical reporting.
Assist in managing the HACCP plan and quality management system.
Requirements
Experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and quality management systems.
Level 3 Food Safety and HACCP (minimum - Level 4 desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Flexibility to work shifts if required.
