Technical Support Advisor

What You'll Do

As a Technical Support Advisor, you'll be the go-to expert for technical queries, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service. Your day-to-day will include:

Resolving Technical Queries

Respond quickly to service engineers, external partners, and internal teams via phone and email Diagnose faults and guide repair procedures for first-time fixes Keep accurate records of all technical interactions

Handling Spare Parts Enquiries

Assist with spare parts queries and troubleshooting Work closely with the Parts Department, suppliers, and Amica to resolve issues

Collaborating Across Teams

Partner with Quality, Spare Parts, and Customer Service teams to solve complex problems Support external service partners with technical advice Escalate recurring issues for deeper investigation

Sharing Knowledge

Help create technical documentation, FAQs, and training materials Support onboarding for new service engineers and CCD staff

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of domestic appliances and repair processes Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills Clear and confident communication (written and verbal) Ability to juggle multiple queries and stay calm under pressure

Desirable Extras:

Previous experience in technical support or service engineering within the appliance industry Familiarity with technical systems and spare parts software Understanding of compliance and safety standards Basic mechanical/electrical competency
