Technical Support Manager - Woodpecker Flooring

Salary:

40,000-50,000 DOE

We are recruiting a Technical Support Manager (Flooring Products) to lead the technical support, training, and installation standards for our flooring product range.

This is a hands-on technical role within the flooring industry, working closely with customers, installers, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Provide expert technical support on our flooring products, installation methods, and subfloor preparation Develop and deliver installer training programmes and CPD sessions Identify skills gaps within technical and installation teams and implement development plans Conduct and oversee on-site flooring inspections and technical investigations Act as the escalation point for

c

omplex flooring installation and product performance queries Support Sales, Customer Service, and New Business Development with flooring specifications and technical advice Deliver on-site demonstrations, test installations, and new product trials Maintain accurate flooring technical documentation, including installation guides and SOPs Respond to technical queries within agreed service levels

Skills and experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in flooring installation or flooring technical services Strong understanding of flooring installation standards, subfloor preparation, and product performance Experience delivering technical training or CPD to installers or trade professionals Ability to read and interpret flooring specifications, drawings, and technical datasheets Excellent communication skills with installers, contractors, and commercial teams Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Confident using digital systems for reporting and documentation
