We are looking for a technical assistant to lead our business through a period of growth. The ideal assistant will be able to assist in multiple tasks and be very willing to help with a wide range of roles.
We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys being hands-on, can work on their own initiative, and is accountable. Must be able to adapt to systems and procedures.
The ideal candidate must be organised, self-motivated and embrace common sense, with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Remuneration will be based on experience, skills and demonstrable value add to the company and there is good potential to progress from this role, where there is an appetite to do so, to more responsible roles within the technical or sales departments.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Promote the company as the leader in the passive fire industry
1st contact for taking inbound phone technical enquiries. To take our technical support to the next level we need to have more technical telephone conversations.
Selecting details and documentation from all our data to provide the customer with technical solutions.
Answering all 1st Tier technical email enquiries.
Communicating with the other Technical and Sales colleagues for guidance in responses (when required)
Assisting the other Technical and Sales colleagues with administrative tasks when required.
Talking through Technical email responses with clients to help them understand and interpret the detail to ensure they fully understand.
Pulling together 'project packs' or 'schedules' of standard installation details for customers.
This is not exhaustive, and other duties will be requested as required.
Timeframe
This is a role that we are looking to fill as soon as possible as we are experiencing significant growth and need to relieve the burden on the existing team as soon as possible. However, it is a very important role to fill and therefore not one that we will be filling lightly. Applications will be reviewed and updated approx twice per week on this portal.
