Role Overview
As a Warehouse Manager at MSP, you'll play a key role in organising the efficient and
safe storage and dispatch of technical equipment including AV systems, lighting and
staging. You'll manage a multidisciplinary technical team, prepping, testing and managing
internal systems to meet diverse client needs. This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive
team player with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Management
Operate the internal Hiretrack system to manage bookings, stock tracking, and
administrative workflows
Test and verify the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing equipment, ensuring all items meet
operational standards
Monitor, test, and troubleshoot returned equipment, coordinating repairs, cleaning, and maintenance
as needed
Oversee PAT testing schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and documentation
requirements
Conduct regular and ad-hoc stock checks to ensure accuracy and availability of inventory
Maintain inventory control, ensuring correct storage, tracking, and security of all technical assets
Event Execution & Teamwork
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate and timely equipment despatch
for events
Interpret equipment prep sheets and coordinate with the production team to address shortfalls and
arrange sub-hires
Organise and lead daily briefing sessions for the warehouse team
Attend and contribute to weekly production management meetings
Troubleshoot issues efficiently and maintain calm under pressure during event execution
Assist with the delivery and collection of sub-hired equipment, ensuring smooth logistics
Co-ordination and assistance with the delivery and collection of sub hires
Support colleagues across various technical disciplines to ensure seamless event delivery
Manage trucking logistics, including scheduling, loading, and unloading operations
Coach, mentor, and train warehouse technicians and freelance operatives, ensuring high
performance and consistency
Plan and assign daily and weekly tasks and priorities, balancing workloads across the team
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development, building a skilled and reliable technical crew
Monitor team performance and address operational challenges proactively
Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships
Logistics & Equipment Care
Ensure all equipment is securely packed, safely transported, and correctly
maintained
Evaluate and optimise warehouse areas to ensure efficient use of space
Deliver and collect equipment using company vehicles ensuring secure and
prompt handling
Oversee the strategic management of warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with company
policies and procedures
Conduct routine maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure operational
reliability
Health & Safety
Adhere to all H&S policies and practices on-site and during transport
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
Enforce health standards, safety and security procedures
Enforce company rules and regulations and ensuring compliance with laws and
regulations
Ensure all employees within the department and freelance workers fill out any
required venue or legal documents
Essential Experience
Minimum 3 years managing a technical team / department
Proven experience in the live events, technical or production industry
Comfortable working from production schedules and client briefs
Strong knowledge of a broad spectrum of technical equipment
Technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
Sound understanding of IT systems and networking
Personal Attributes

Confident communicator with a professional client-facing manner
Strong team player with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
Clean UK driving license and own transport preferred
Training & Progression
On-going training will be provided as the job role requires. We place great value on our team

regular one-on-one meetings and an annual role review.
Working Hours
A flexible approach to working hours will be required due to weekend and late night-time schedules,
which are managed around flexible shift rotas to ensure a good work-life balance. Overtime is paid
at the normal hourly rate, however time off in lieu is preferred and scheduled over quieter periods
or usually after longer shifts.

Bonus Night Pay
The company pays 50 when working away from home and staying overnight at a hotel
under company expenses.
